1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Khushoo application on iOS or Android, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. About Khushoo
Khushoo is a personal productivity and spiritual companion app designed to support Muslims in maintaining their daily prayer practice. Khushoo is not a religious authority and does not provide religious rulings. Prayer time calculations are provided as a convenience.
3. Eligibility
The App is available to users of all ages. Users under 13 should use the App with parental knowledge and consent.
4. Licence to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission
- Transfer your licence to any other person
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
5. Prayer Time Accuracy
Prayer times are calculated using recognised Islamic calculation methods and are provided for general guidance. We are not responsible for missed prayers resulting from reliance on the App's calculations.
6. App Blocking Feature
On iOS, App Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time and Focus Mode APIs. On Android, it uses Android's Usage Stats and Accessibility features. We are not responsible for:
- Any consequences arising from inability to access blocked apps during a prayer window
- Changes to platform APIs that may affect this feature
- Any conflicts with other device settings
7. Intellectual Property
All content within the App is owned by or licensed to Khushoo and is protected by intellectual property laws. The name "Khushoo" and associated logos are trademarks of the App's developer.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate at all times.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khushoo and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Privacy
Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Updates and Changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the App without prior notice.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
