Why are my prayer times slightly off?
Go to Settings → Calculation Method and try switching to one recognised by your local mosque. Common methods include Muslim World League (MWL), ISNA, and Egyptian General Authority. You can also enter your location manually for greater precision.
How do I enable app blocking on iPhone?
Tap Settings → App Blocking and follow the prompts to grant Screen Time permissions. This requires iOS Screen Time to be enabled on your device.
How do I enable app blocking on Android?
Tap Settings → App Blocking and follow the prompts. Khushoo will request access to Usage Stats and Accessibility features. You remain in full control of which apps are blocked.
My prayer wasn't recorded — can I add it manually?
Yes. Open the prayer tracker calendar and tap on the relevant day to mark any prayer as completed or adjust existing records.
Will Khushoo drain my battery?
Khushoo is designed to be lightweight. Background activity is limited to scheduled notifications only. You should not notice any significant battery impact.
Is my data private?
Your prayer history and preferences are stored entirely on your device and are never shared with us or third parties. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I use Khushoo without sharing my location?
Yes. Enter your city manually in Settings → Location. Prayer times will be calculated based on your entered city.
The app is blocking something I urgently need. What do I do?
Open the Khushoo app and tap "I need access" on the overlay screen. App blocking is there to gently protect your focus — you are always in control.
How do I delete my data or the app?
Simply delete Khushoo from your device. All locally stored data is permanently removed. We don't hold any of your data on our servers.
I have a billing or in-app purchase question.
